CHILDREN'S IMMUNIZATIONS

Thursday's by Appointment
2nd Thursday of every month appointments are available up to 6PM

The Jefferson County Health Department offers immunizations for children 18 years of age and younger, who do not have health insurance or their health insurance does not cover vaccinations.

Note: Child must be accompanied by or have written permission from a parent/legal guardian and must bring a complete shot record showing all immunizations received since birth.

Vaccines available:

DTap (Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertusis)
DT (Diptheria, Tetanus)
Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, Pertusis)
Td (Tetanus, Diptheria)
Hib (Haemophilus influenza)
Rotavirus
Influenza
Meningococcal
Pneumococcal

Hepatitis B
Hepatitis A
IPV (Polio)
MMR (Measles, Mumps, Reubella)
Varicella (Chickenpox)
HPV (Human Papillomavirus)

All of these vaccines are provided from the Indiana State Department of Health through VFC, (Vaccines For Children).

Since it is the goal of the Health Department to ensure the protection of those individuals at greatest risk, when shortages in vaccine or funding occur, the Indiana State Board of Health will decide how to allocate the vaccine available.

We can now provide vaccines for Children that are covered by the following insurances:

• Anthem (not those with the prefix XPE)
• United Healthcare
• Aetna
• Cigna
• Sagamore
• Medicaid
• All Savers
